Survey Smarts: Getting Useful Data Every Time with Francee Preston, Ph.D., MBA

Surveys aren’t free; they’re useless when results come back vague, misleading, or
irrelevant. The difference between digital clutter and actionable insight lies in survey design.
Whether surveying patients or employees, structuring questions determines the value of the
answers. This session introduces the key principles of survey design to help participants gather
data that is clear, useful, and decision-ready.
This session combines teaching, examples, and practice. Participants will learn
essential concepts for effective survey design, review real-world examples of what to do—and
what not to do—and then apply the concepts in small groups to design their own survey
questions.
