Blogs, message boards, social networks (like Facebook and Linked In), Twitter, listservs, photo/video sharing sites, and wikis - These are just a few examples of how online conversation and community are becoming an increasingly important part of daily life for healthcare providers and their patients.  However, healthcare professionals face unique regulatory issues and privacy challenges when it comes to navigating today's digital landscape. Katie Allison Granju will address how today's health care professionals and administrators can better understand both the risks and the opportunities presented by emerging media at the April 15, 2010 meeting.
